Little Willow Programs
We are committed to the Rhode Island Early Learning Development Standards (RIELDS). The RI Early Learning and Development Standards (RIELDS) Curriculum are defined as “An evidence-based written plan that describes program practices for supporting the learning of each child based on their individual developmental levels, learning styles, and interests and is informed by the RI Early Learning and Development Standards and/or Common Core State Standards/Grade Level Expectations for Kindergarten” (Early Learning and Development Standards, p. 65).
Little Willow believes that each child is entitled to an environment that fosters RIELDS and offers an equal opportunity to learn no matter how different their learning style may be.
We have 6 total programs, divided by age, and our ratio standards are better than state requirements. Little Willow feels that superb supervision and maximum interaction are best for children.
Our Program Overview
Infant One: 6 Weeks-9 Months
Infant Two: 9 Months-18 Months
Toddler One: 18 Months-27 Months
Toddler Two: 27 Months-36 Months
Pre-School: 3-4 Years
Pre-K: 4 and 5 Years
